The Great Migration

The Great Migration

A poignant dance theater piece exploring the emotional journey of displacement and the quest for belonging. Choreographed by Blenard Azizaj, this work delves into the multifaceted experiences of migration, from departure and memories to arrival and the hope for a new home. Drawing from documentary material and the choreographer's own experiences as a refugee, the performance features eight dancers embodying roles such as refugees, border guards, helpers, and officials. The evocative score by Diego Noguera Berger complements the raw physicality of the choreography, creating a compelling narrative of resilience and transformation.myticket.al
